Site visit to the project site of Buntingford First School with my fellow M.Arch Architecture and Urbanism students at the University of Hertfordshire, which is being built by Morgan Sindall Construction.
Buntingford First School is Hertfordshire’s first net-zero carbon school located in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. Built on a former Sainsburys depot site, Buntingford First School will offer approx. 330 school places for pupils aged 5 to 11, and will provide vital school places for children living in 1,500 new properties that have been built in Buntingford since 2011. The 1643 sqm school will have a nursery and ten classrooms including a rooftop outdoor classroom.
